簡介 Introduction
課程專為需要照顧長者的家庭傭工及其僱主而設，重點教授安全及實用的長者照顧技巧。課程特別強調「僱傭共學」，鼓勵僱主與外傭一同參與，在學習過程中建立一致的照護標準與良好默契，讓外傭掌握正確操作，僱主亦能懂得有效配合與指導。課程採用獨立主題工作坊模式，學員可按家庭實務需要自由選擇不同工作坊。內容涵蓋長者日常起居、扶抱轉移及使用輔助工具等實務操作。透過理論講解、導師示範及學員實習，協助家庭傭工提升專業技能，僱傭同心協力，有效保障長者家居安全並提升生活品質。
Designed specifically for domestic helpers caring for the elderly and their employers, this course focuses on teaching practical and safe elderly care techniques. It places special emphasis on "co-learning", encouraging employers and helpers to attend together. Through this shared learning experience, both parties can establish consistent care standards and strong mutual understanding—ensuring helpers master the correct techniques while employers learn how to provide effective guidance and support.
The course adopts an independent, topic-based workshop format, allowing families to flexibly select modules tailored to their specific practical needs. Content covers key practical areas such as daily routines, lifting and transferring techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices. Combining theoretical instruction, instructor demonstrations, and hands-on practice, the workshop empowers helpers to elevate their professional skills. Working together, employers and helpers can effectively safeguard home safety and enhance the overall quality of life for senior family members.

Workshop 1: Dementia Care & Understanding Age - Related Physical and Psychological Changes
- 長者身心老化與認知障礙症基礎認識 Basic understanding of age-related physical and psychological changes, and dementia
- 日常照顧需要及安全守則 Daily care needs and safety rules
- 工作坊二：家居環境安全、防跌與飲食服藥照顧
Workshop 2: Home Safety, Fall Prevention, Feeding, and Medication Care
- 防滑、防跌及照明裝置 Anti-slip measures, fall prevention, and lighting fixtures
- 通道整理及浴室安全 Clearing walkways and bathroom safety
- 餵食安全、哽塞預防及服藥方法 Safe feeding, choking prevention, and medication administration - 工作坊三：長者洗澡、個人衞生與穿衣照護技巧
Workshop 3: Bathing, Hygiene Practices, and Dressing Techniques for Elderly
- 清潔前的準備與保暖措施 Pre-care preparation and temperature management
- 清潔、穿衣與穿脫輔助技巧 Cleansing, dressing, and assisted dressing techniques - 工作坊四：扶抱、轉移技巧及輔具運用
Workshop 4: Lifting, Transferring Techniques, and Assistive Device Operation

學員成功修畢課程，出席率達100%，可獲頒發香港青年協會證書。
